Volunteer lawyer helps woman with disabilities avoid homelessness
A Pierce County woman who has cognitive disabilities and mental health issues was living in a condemned house. Her mother sought legal help on her behalf when her landlord refused to pay relocation costs. A volunteer private attorney negotiated for relocation costs for this woman.
