Young mother reunited with her baby girl
A young woman with significant disabilities lost custody of her four-month-old baby after her father forcefully removed the baby from her home. The father filed a petition for a parenting plan which would severely restrict the mother’s time with her child, and in the meantime, he refused to allow her to see her daughter. The Northwest Justice Project’s Longview office stepped in; they assisted the mother with responding to the petition. After being separated from her baby girl for three months, the court awarded the young mother with nearly equal parenting time. Alliance Member: Northwest Justice Project
